Welcome to Rajagopal Polytechnic College The ambition and initiative of the great industrialist Late. Thiru. B. RAJAGOPAL NAIDU to provide technical Education facilities to the youth of Vellore District was the Chief cause for the Rajagopal Polytechnic College to be established in the year 1960. This Polytechnic College was started under the Second Five Year Plan of the Govt. of India. It was a Rs.26 Lakhs project, sponsored by the Rajagopal Educational Trust.
The Polytechnic College is Aided by Govt of Tamilnadu and offers three year Diploma courses in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Automobile Engineering. Located on a 16 hectare Plot in the Gudiyattam - Katpadi Road, 2KM from Gudiyattam and 28KM from Katpadi the Polytechnic College has calm atmosphere conducive for sound education.
The Polytechnic College has been maintaining high standards of discipline and produce uniformly excellent results.
For years together the students of RPC have bagged the top positions in SCTE &VT Examination.Institute duly recognizes their performance by awarding them scholarship in the form of cash prizes and other types of help.
