The department started functioning in the year 1994 with well qualified faculty members specialized in applied electronics, Electronics and control etc..who strive for establishing a Centre of excellence in technical education which in turn will bring out technocrats with superior skill and social commitment.
The students are motivated by their guidance not only for their academics, but also for industrial & research work. The department of Electronics and communication Engineering moves with a vision to produce competent and disciplined Electronics and communication Engineers.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOME (PSO)

• Apply the knowledge acquired from Mathematics, Electronic Devices and circuits,Digital Electronics,Communication Engineering,Linear integrated circuits,Microcontroller,Advanced communication system,Very Large scale integration,Digital Communication,Embedded system,Computer Hardware and Network,Bio Medical to solve the problems arising in Electronics and communication Engineering.
• Apply the practical knowledge acquired from practical subjects to deal with the maintenance, production,program developments in Industry, to be a valuable employee or entrepreneur.
